And how long does Bridges expect to have control over his ex-girlfriend?

EXACTLY. dont get me wrong, i reckon john terry is most probly a right ol C-Word qwuite frankly, but still, footballers suddenly developing morals.. whatever next??? and you're right.. it was wayne bridges ex girlfriend so it was none of wayne bridges business who she does sex with.. she could do sex with each and every team-mate of his and its still none of his bleeding business. she may well have done that even.. wayne bridge- STOP BEING SO EGGY.

I thought she'd only become his ex-girlfriend since it all came to light about the John Terry thing. Reading about it on google it seems she moved in with Bridge then went on to have an affair with Terry. She seems to have done the rounds with quite a few of the Chelsea team, although Terry and Bridge were supposedly good friends.
Presumably you lot wouldn't mind if your best friend had it off with your girlfriend (and also the mother of your child) while she was living with you, made her pregnant and arranged an abortion for her. Would you still consider it to be petty?
Personally, though, I see them as pretty pathetic all round. They don't seem to have more than one brain cell between the lot of them and the only thing they have going for them is their youth and the relatively short amount of time left for them to earn big money. Once that's gone you can be sure the likes of the Chelsea Slapper won't give them a second glance.
Actually, I don't blame Bridge for resigning his place in the England team. If he and Terry were in the same team, the newspapers wouldn't leave it alone. At least this way the team can be left to get on with their game (and probably lose in the quarter finals)

Yes, our lass said that. But the newspaper reports tend to say, "Had an affair with the ex-girlfriend of...", which is ambiguous at best; it is natural to take it to mean that they had split up and then the affair started.
Sloppy wording. It is not a small difference, either.

Well, when you put it like that ....
Called stirring the porridge in Scotland I believe ;D
I've heard John Terry is a twot of the highest order. Apparently him and some footballing chums were getting drunk in an airport bar as 9/11 unfolded. They then proceeded to take the michael out of some American tourists, reducing them to tears.

Mair like Sloppy Seconds. (sorry.) Is the word "slop" an onomatopoeia?
