If they'd played their cards right and left it as it was - not only would this gloriously inebriated country have drunk it's way out of recession but it could have been deliriously happy with as it did it and full of support for the Government that gaveth!
Why! Oh! Why! Oh! Why!!!!
It won't be a Happy Christmas for all those struggling Landlords then - I bet Darling is still barred from most pubs!
(I wonder if the supermarket's will find any way around it?)
Edit (again) Bloody annoyed about this. I know it was obvious - but getting a bit fed up of Governments telling us what we can't do - and wish they'd inject a bit of joy into folks lives for once - Is it any wonder we come high on the bloody miserable stakes!)
