Millionaire shortbread, a slab in tescos of shortbread, spread with caramel, topped with chocolate. Yum. sweet and lovely. stovies, sliced potatoes with left over sunday roast with stock boiled on the stove for ages eat with oat cakes. haggis, caught fresh runs free over the heather gets boiled for a hour gets served with neeps and tatties or stuffed in chicken breast and made with a whisky sauce. clootie dumplins a mix of spices and fruit and sugar, fat and flour boiled in a muslin cloth and served after the haggis meal. the best steak pie i ever had, from our local butcher, who has awards for the product the steak is lean and soft,no grizzly bits not fat, under a puff pastry topping. these are the wonderful things we have discovered in Scotland over the 20 years .and oh a buttery from aberdeen, you have got to try those, plus a scotch pancake with butter and jam try one of those.

I love all that sort of food, Sesley. The first time I tasted haggis was in a chicken dish. Delicious!
