I go on my hols for less than a week, come back and find that I can no longer see Stub Crouch.
It matters.
Does this make me really sad?

People don't like change, so I suppose it makes you a people. The BBC have just changed their news site and I don't like it. AH

Maybe a bit more than hating change, though that is true enough. But we are at Stub Crouch, so why not shw us where we are, or change the name?

Yeah. OK. Don't do it again, though, without warning us.
You know what we're like.

No no no. The photograph isn't centred above the words Stub Crouch ...for crying out loud... this could ruin my day... it's all gone wrong...

I have felt strange all my life. You get used to it. I asked a psychiatrist what the problem was. He said, "You are strange".

Perhaps what we need is a new photo of Stub Crouch. I keep meeting to return to the area, for old times' sake, and could take a photo from the road.
If the occupier comes out and asks what I'm doing, it could take an awful lot of explaining....

Costal, Stub Crouch turns out to be within a mile of where I was born, in Kent.
I visited my old house (from the outside) last summer when walking the North Downs Way, but may well go back soon.
Pagtrick has also lived in east Sussex, near thee and me.
