This will not affect me because, since my holiday in Salcombe, where, every night after dinner, someone was elected to go and get the bars of chocolate that we were to eat during the evening, and I ate a whole bar of Cadbury's milk chocolate to myself every night, and, as such, gained about 5 pounds in weight, I am not eating chocolate any more.
That was a Charles Dickens length sentence - but without the clarity and grammar I feel.

It read ok and it held together. There was not enough fanciful exageration for Dickens, though.
(Maybe drop the "And" after "Evening"?)
(No - I've reread it and it looks ok.)

Thank you Aubrey. Yes, maybe not fanciful enough for Dickens.

Milk chocolate has been off my diet since being diagnosed with high cholesterol. I have tried Green and Black's 80% cocoa bars but they are too bitter - the 70% are okay.
I break the rule when I go on walking holidays. What you lose on the hillsides you gain on the Fruit and Nut, but what the heck.

I'm not supposed to have chocolate because of its potassium content. But I always prefered Galaxy anyway.
Now, how about the EU's thing about chocolate labelling? Will everyone start supporting that now? Especially if Kraft start putting out ersatz choc crap.

I have not tasted Cadbury's since Anne discovered a Lindt factory ten minutes walk away. She is now well known in the factory shop.

I had a mug of hot chocolate today in a little place called The Chocolate Tree in Edinburgh (we're here visiting our son). It was amazing. I shall probably dream about it tonight. The Chocolate Tree offers several different types of hot chocolate with different cocoa bean content. www.the-chocolate-tree.co.uk/

However they change the recipe, Cadbury's cannot be any more disgusting than it is now.
