I've been making my very fine and lovesome Bolognese sauce for over 20 years now. I've even beaten quality restaurants for flavour and consistency. One thing I have never been able to do though, is judge how much spaghetti to use! It's always not quite enough, or a little too much!  How on Earth do you measure the stringy stuff? |

Weigh it.
Try 3 oz per person and take it from there.

I always have that problem. If I can be bothered I make a salad out of the left over bits, or feed them to the dog.
Perhaps you can chop the leftovers into tiny pieces and put them out for your feathered friends.

As for weighing it, I suppose I've never considered that because of the very nature of Spaghetti - it doesn't really lend itself to being weighed, does it?
Now there's a killer product - to go with the pasta maker and the juicer!?

that reminds me, for my dad last xmas, we bought those nose mugs that Riot put up on JSG, remember the paper cups with the nose on them?..
..we laughed and laughed and made the twins use them for our entertainment.

Yes, it was a butterfly thing, my sister rang and was describing things on the net she'd seen and they were hard to describe and when it came to the mugs I said 'I know them, they looked good' so we bought em.
