Seconded. If Blair was that brilliant how come he only drove a Montego estate before moving into Downing Street?
See! Even just as "leader of the opposition" it was just all image and no substance.

Big brother said he liked the driving position - one of the more comfortable he'd owned. Apart from the time he ended up on top of the fence outside an electrical substation, I expect.

OI!! Mr. E. drives a very nice Mondeo. Mine's a Focus. Montego, Ev, not Mondeo. I've never driven a Mondeo, or a Focus. My Scouse mate, Mr E's Doppelgänger, drives a Focus, and he seems to like it fine. (He probably nicked it in Essex. ) Mine's a VW Transporter. Best four-wheeled vehicle I ever had. If it ever gives up — never had ANY problem with it in more than ten years — I'll probably get a VW Caddy. I like vans.

Duh! I read that as Mondeo! Yeah, Montego's had a bad reputation. Was that what Blair drove?
