Our daughter bought Mr. E. the Jamie Oliver Cook Book a couple of Christmases ago. He has yet to cook anything from it, but assures me that just as soon as he retires, he'll have a bash.

Someone gave me the Italian one. I enjoyed the series - but the book is a mess. Can't really make head nor tail of it.

Has anyone made anything from Jamie's 30 Minute Meal selection?

Our daughter bought Mr. E. the Jamie Oliver Cook Book a couple of Christmases ago. He has yet to cook anything from it, but assures me that just as soon as he retires, he'll have a bash. The only Jamie Oliver recipe I've tried is the ice cream one. Tell Mr E that it's dead easy: buy some nice ice cream (vanilla is best), buy a bag of Maltesers, crush the Maltesers and sprinkle over the ice cream, serve (and eat the leftover Maltesers while looking for a spoon) and voila. My only criticism is that it's a little sickly.

Pathetic. That's not a recipe.

I know! And by the way it was me what added in the best part of that recipe (eating the maltesers whilst looking for a spoon).
