......That it's New Year's Eve! After completely going ga ga last week trying to remember what day it was - I've been very good this. So when Tomas Shaffernackerwackersillyboy weather chap was banging on about it needing to be clear tonight "For obvious reasons" I just thought "Why? Is there some Galaxial occasion we're all supposed to look at?" So. Don' t be surprised if I just go to bed as normal tonight - completely unaware that anything special is happening at all! Though I expect people and their stupid fireworks'll put paid to that

I am doing some murder mystery thing with my family tonight but I feel like complete crap having had a fever for the past few days.
I managed to pass it on to Karen also so I cant say I am really looking forward to it!

Everybody has been ill this month! I have been feeling out of sorts myself the last few days...not bed ridden or anything, but I definitely feel like I am running on emergency battery back-up or something...I just don't feel well. The government are probably seeding the water with mad-crazy drugs to pacify us or something. AH

I have been feeling out of sorts AH I've heard that rumour. I am fine. Me too! (Much to the annoyance of Best Beloved) and if you ignore the whingeing liver of mine (no celebrating drinkies for me tonight!) Just nice safe hot chocolate or tea!

Nothing safe about hot chocolate...it's an edgy brew with a history of empire building and human sacrifice: FACT

I was thinking more of the Aztec Emperors who drank it as a luxury inbetween dedicating new temples with "blood for sun" by ripping the still beating hearts from thousands of prisoners...but I suppose Cadburys (the clue is in the name) could be considered "empire builders" in a way...not seen any evidence of human sacrifice on a massive scale though...unless we are glugging down a nice cup of relaxing "soylent brown" before bed. Of course, it's only the modern Cadbury's who are the big grasping, greedy, unethical mob. Complete contrast to how the company was set up, sadly. For the good of the people of Birmingham etc.

The Drinking Chocolate's good. Not the stuff in the ready mix jar - but the sour-ey cocoa stuff. Not half as sickly as Cadbury's "Cup Hands" or whatever they call it these days! Ach well! the year's 44 minutes old! Here comes Summer!

And the days are getting longer and brighter. I was given G&B chocolate covered shortbread and it was horrible, very bitter and a waste of money, give me a hob nob any day.

Yes, they're not brilliant at those sorts of things. Aldi make nice choccy at a quarter of the price! Their "Chocuer" white is good too! Oi loikes the nut n' raisin meself. 200g for 49p sorts of knocks G & B into a preverbial. Have they invaded Ireland yet? I was watching Nationwide the other night! That was fun - almost just like "Nationwide" used to be! Even down to the trumpetty theme tune! Presenting the news from Toronto was a bit excessive though!

Howbout this then. One heaped spoonful of drinking chocolate, mixed with two capfuls of whisky. Make with milk as usual, sugar etc. Then one dollop of double cream on top! This is Geeeeorgous!
