Terrifying. Robot technology needs to stop now. Where will it all end? I once wrote a story where robots replicated dead loved ones. The dead return...the bereaved temporarily happy...until the robotic 'dead' daughter... turns.... Science fiction may well become science fact.

Someone tonight mentioned "Stem Cells" being used in sausages. I will investigate when I remember next.

Someone tonight mentioned "Stem Cells" being used in sausages. I will investigate when I remember next. it was on BBC breakfast starring SIAN WILLIAMS basically some old biddy wrote a book about - FAY WELDON was the old biddy i believe- food being created via such meaures , and it has also just been revealed that a sausage was made created with stem cells and no animals harmed in its creation, so they kinda tied the 2 stories together... the sausage apparantly cost about 2 grand to produce, but theyre wondering if its the way forward... it could be on the market in 5 years or so.. a viable alternative for vegetarians who dont eat meat cos they dont like animals being slaughtered? personally, i'd feel a bit icky eating stem cell sausarrrrge, but i suppose if 50 years down the line it becomes the norm, it'll just be accepted. dunno what farmers will make of it thou...

The measures reminded me more of the old biddy Margaret Atwood and her book, Oryx and Crake.
