I've just noticed a striking similarity between Geoff Hoon and Philip Hammond - I wonder if by any chance that they're related? Perhaps they're being manufactured en masse somewhere - Could this have been an early prototype? Proof positive that MP's are now being cloned - to maintain the level of incompetence! After all - one look at the Party Leaders is enough to show what happens when they don't get the mixture quite right - but there's definitely a level of cloning happening there too! Be afraid, be very afraid.

I can't help thinking that someone with a speech defect like Milliband should never be speaking in public!
Hold on though, I'm thinking now of Winston Churchill!
Maybe not such a bad idea.

Actually, I was listening to a speech by Mrs. Thatcher the other day on some radio programme or other (cue: rant from Weyland). It got me thinking about how her voice changed a few times over the course of her career.
When she first became PM she was very obviously voice-coached, to a ridiculous degree. But later on it changed and she started to pronounce the "r" in words differently - like many of the toffs do, a real affectation.
I mean, what is it with people? Tsk!
That said, Milliband should definitely do something about his voice. It grates on me worse than the grater that grated my finger yesterday.

And his brother's even worse. Nearly as bad as Blair.
