I've just a few moments ago been reading bits of this to Best Beloved. Note his age "44" - and he's heading off around the world after it's done and dusted. I suspect that the bidder who bid the silly money isn't real. Remains to be seen.

I read about this somewhere else, and mad or not, the guy has balls to just uproot himself and strike out on his own personal quest for happiness/adventure/fulfillment. Good luck to him.  AH |

We're having a bit of a "fortysomething" moment ourselves at the moment - deciding whether to sell up and buy a business with living accumulation on top - with a garden out the back as well of course! Must be something in the genes!  |
