Well, what makes everyone cry? I don't mean crying because something horrible has happened or that you're depressed or whatever, but crying in a sentimental way. Blubbing, if you like. With me it's the end bit of The Railway Children (which I watched yesterday) where Jenny Agutter says "Daddy! It's my Daddy!". OMG I well up every time. In fact, even now, just thinking about it.... sniff... Also, I may have mentioned this before, but I can't listen to "The Folks Who Live on the Hill" by Peggy Lee, without shedding a tear. Mr. E. shed a manly tear with me at The Railway Children too, but the one that reduces him to blubbering is the film "Carousel". What a pair of softies we are. What does it for you, eh?

Films here too. My Fair Lady when Eliza comes back in the house at the end springs to mind - Also Freddie singing "On the street where you live" because my brother took that part at his local amdram group and it takes me back to a happy part of my existence.

I teared up at the end of Return of the Jedi....Vader turning on the Emperor and sacrificing his own life to save his son is fucking epic.
I was also gutted when Robert Neville (Will Smith) had to kill his dog in "I am Legend".

Cheers matey...I spotted that was on soon and thought *hmmm...I shall watch that* ...shan't bother now... It's not my fault you haven't seen a film that was released several years ago. Watch it anyway...Will Smith acts his balls off in this flick. Totally changed my opinion of his acting chops. AH

I cry at the drop of a hat. That's because I'm so lovely and girly and delicate. The last film I cried at though was on Christmas Eve and it was ''Up''.

Oh I cry at anything too. Jack is even worse. I caught him with weepy eyes at the end of Forrest Gump. I mean, really!

Housey, it's our age I think. When our daughter got married 5 years ago, every time Mr. E. rehearsed his speech to me he welled up. I had to threaten him with my hat pin at the reception if he cried. On the day he was fine though. Nerves took over.
