It did not make me laugh.
It did not make me smile.
It was trite, cliched and reinforced offensive gender stereotypes (for both genders.)
Hardly razor-sharp wit or well-observed insight.

It's been done before in joke form, hasn't it? I'm sure my cousin who sends me everything, including hoax computer virus warnings even though I email her back EVERY TIME and tell her to look on www.snopes, has sent me it. Not funny, although it didn't offend me. It's just not funny. Interesting that the voice of the Manslator has a Japanese accent! Or was it Chinese? Tells you something about where they'd be made, if they existed.

I tittered a bit at the "I'll be ready in 5 minutes" gag. But the rest was pretty lame. Are we all going to feel really dreadful when Jean tells us that this was her first attempt at writing and directing a comedy short for her video and film night class? Now, this is funny (I think): www.guardian.co.uk/media/video/2010/apr/30/peter-kay-new-john-smiths-ad

Ah! I wouldn't know - never tasted the stuff! Maybe Mr. Kaye hasn't either but will promote any old tat as long as the money's right. Shame.
