Hi Riot!!

"Lil, how do you feel abou thearing horrible things that have happened to humans? "

I often get asked that. People can get very cross with me. It isn't that I don't care about people, I do, very much. I do hours and hours of volunteer work for blind people and I have raised money for various charities in all sorts of ways. I organised a few jumble sales for Protection of Children, took part in a sponsored diet for homeless people, and donated some of my artwork to an auction for street kids. I always give money to anything to do with street kids, and I give money and STUFF to the salvos. But....I have to say that my weak spot for emotional torture, is sad animals. It is the way I got made.....they melt me.
So, I do the right thing by people. But my heart goes to animals.
Don't hate me....

I don't hate you Lil, I'm a bit the same, especially if the animals suffer at the hands of Man. Now, I've no reason to believe that the floods were caused by human activity, but the thought of a mother kanga watching her baby float away would melt my heart too.

I feel the same way about vulnerable humans too, especially the old and mentally incapable. Children too, but perhaps not as much as the feeble minded; the way I am made, perhaps, but also because those two groups are so neglected and abused within our society.
