2011 People born in the Year of the Rabbit are articulate, talented, and ambitious. They are virtuous, reserved, and have excellent taste. Rabbit people are admired, trusted, and are often financially lucky. They are fond of gossip but are tactful and generally kind. Rabbit people seldom lose their temper. They are clever at business and being conscientious, never back out of a contract. They would make good gamblers for they have the uncanny gift of choosing the right thing. However, they seldom gamble, as they are conservative and wise. They are most compatible with those born in the years of the Sheep, Pig, and Dog. More: www.chinesezodiac.com/rabbit.php

Well the Chinese Zodiac couldn't be more wrong if it tried.
Apparently, I was born in the Year of the Tiger (and I'm a Metal Tiger to boot) and I am (ahem) "...assertive, competitive and sharp". What? And "The best jobs for Tigers are those that will lead them towards positions of leadership." Nooooooo! The only position of leadership I've ever held was when I became Chairman of our local Flower Club - and I hated it.
Sorry, but as far as I'm concerned, astrology is bunkum.

OH. Anyway. It at least gives a theme for present buying. An excuse to buy rabbit books. I recommend Emily Gravett for beautiful illustrations. I have no idea if children like these books as so far I have only ever read them to myself.

Rabbits are lovely. Unfortunately I saw a squashed one on the road leading to my daughter's house the other day. We have lots of bunnies round here. They're so cute, but they will keep running in front of cars.
Actually, I'm going to start a thread for a debate on astrology. I'm interested to find out what everyone thinks.

So was Jil. Quicksilver mind, split personalityIt's unlucky to be superstitious. Yeah but what about the dummies who are born under the sign of Gemini? Geminis can't ALL have quicksilver minds. I just took at look at the Gemini sign on astrology.com and apparently you should be a wow at cocktail parties, Weyland.

The subject was rabbits. Not breeding like them. Behave, you two. You're such a judgemental skeptic, Trubs. Just like Riot. On the other hand, Ev, Sparra, Jean, and Aub will testify to the fact that I am in fact the perfect gentleman. [It's surely long past time to forget the naan thing, fuggodssake.]
