Sounds like a good time, Everso. I've lived here for 30 years and all I've seen is John Mortimer and Keith Waterhouse - oh, Mark Smith once.
Our lass once talked to a bloke who'd come to fix our boiler, and the week before he'd been fixing Joss Ackland's boiler - eh? eh? (I've just asked her and she can't remember it. It was a few years ago.)
But do you mean that Mr Ev didn't kidnap Ray Davies and make him play a private concert for you? Tut.

He's been there for months. I only feed him because Dave feels guilty and gives me the money. I once bumped into Katharine Hepburn in the foyer of the Queen's Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue, but she didn't recognise me. I didn't recognise her either, but Mrs YI did. (Mrs YI's first name is Catherine, which is the proper spelling, of course.) Saw James Burke the same day, and I once met Riot in London as well, years later. |

Thanks Chris! Since becoming 61 I've started to get some more aches and pains! Either it's my age or my yoga class. I have a bone in my knee at the moment that's making me limp somewhat.
