Two teams of privileged arseholes compete in an archaic sporting ritual in a minority sport that no-one outside their moneyed world gives a flying f**k about. And the most tedious sporting event of the year. The Boat Race = A load of rich faggots arseing about on the water. Hope they all drown. If not I reckon either Cambridge or Oxford will win. ;D

I don't hope they all drown. Except Geoff Boycott.

There is no more graceful sport.

Funky little boat race.
But does that mean that you two won't be out stealing policemans' helmets tomorrow night?
The cricket was good today. S Africa got beat by NZ.

First-Against-the-Wall Department: There was a cloth-eared middle-class professor type on Lord Bragg's In Our Time yesterday, talking shite about metal-working. She said copper could be rivetted, with the stress on the middle syllable. With some lovely bijou Fabergé rivettes, no doubt. Twat.

Oh, I like the boat race. It's a little bit of English tradition. I waver between which one I support though. I'm very fickle.
"I can't tell who's leading - it's either Oxford or Cambridge"

Well, Oxford won. I was rather hoping for a draw. Talking of boats, see this. And get busy posting pics over there. That's an order to everybody here, all three or four of us.

They had a bit of fun on Boat Race Night though, didn't they? A few Policeman's helmets stolen, a few people before the Magistrates' next day giving their name as Leon Trotski.

But are they 'two teams of privileged arseholes'? I thought Oxbridge was open to all and sundry nowadays. So long as you can row straight, your background, privileged or not, shouldn't come into it. Should it?
