I surprised myself, by knowing where a few went: Israel, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Sudan, Palestine, Iraq, Iran, Turkey and Saudi. I had to have a couple of stabs at a few of the others, and the rest, such as all the 'stans', was just guesswork. |

i got Tunisia in the wrong place s couple of times and Quatar and Western Sahara positions wrong as well,but its good fun

I got 40/46 with an average error of 57 miles, but I was surprised as it seemed like I got a lot wrong!

Bulgaria is easy - you just remember the Black Sea resorts (like Sunny Beach) and slot it in next to the Black Sea on the Balkans. On Sesley's original puzzle, I haven't a CLUE which African nation is which. So I did badly. On the European one, it sort of depends on the order things come up in. In that, if you've already slotted in Romania, it's easy to slot in Moldova. Otherwise, not. |

31 out of 46 i got the old yugoslavia states a bit mixed up and Monoco i did not put it close enough to the French/Italian border
