I'm sorry Mimi went. She might return if people (Chris) don't write mean things about her and the board livens up a little again. Let's hope.

It's been very strange and out of kilter the old routine lately - the compoota didn't even get switched on until 9 or so. We had visitors too yesterday lunchtime! Shock Horror! Hold the front page!! An Aunt and Uncle on the way to visit my parents in Scotland.

(Lasagne followed by pear and blackberry crumble c/o a fabulous aunty.) Is it Lasagne season or something? Are the little Lasagne's coming out of their burrows at this time and dancing round the hillside only to be shot and hung by the Ramsay types? Previously mentioned Aunt and Uncle were to be fed Lasagne by Mother when they reached their destination - and only the night before in half sleep mode, had imagined that Aunt had been held up by traffic on the M6 and had had to stay the night here - and in my muddled half asleep thoughts I wondered what I might feed them if they had - and there was only one answer! - Lasagne!!!! Bit spooky really! Tell us how you make yours Trubbs (In the kitchen naturally!) and we'll compare!

To every generation there are kiddies who like playing with railway lines! I remember "Nationwide" doing their own public infromation film about it back in the late 70's!

We used to run across the railway line in front of the trains on the way home from school playing chicken. Does that count?

We-ell! I once put a Stabilo boss highlighter on a rail to see if it would get cut in two - but my mate told me to take it off! I'm dead butch me!

When I were a lass . . we used to play chicken with trains on the railtrack. Poor old train drivers. They're tootling along the suburban line and suddenly fierce girls in bastardised school uniforms were running in front of their trains.
P.S. Just noticed that I have told the same story in different posts . . just with a few days in between them. Sorry about that. Still, at least I'm consistent if boring!

I am that person that the police warned you against and your parents told you not to play with. Saw your 'enough is enough' stance on JSG re. the BNP today . . . just cruising the boards in my lunch break. Good on yer. But it may be too little too late. Remember when Moto, Morrigan, Luc, Patrick, SWL, Chris, Eric, Bodgett, XpremX, etc. etc. were all on the JSG day and daily . . . . seems a long time ago now. And, for the record, the first person to leave in protest at the racism was PATRICK. He is our Martin Luther King. Our Ghandi.

Well, maybe they all should come back and back me up. My, you've grown up so quickly! It seems like only yesterday you were a little grrl with bunches, and now you're an elegant and sophisticated young lady! Go back to JSG? You're havin' a laugh!!! It's still the same conversation as when I left. FACT (as Reece would say). Euggh. It's a white tribal board, and I'm not keen on tribalism. At least you don't have the urge to wash your hands after posting on this board!!!
