Mike Waterson has died
Here is another piece about him.
This is him singing one of his songs:
I don't know what it is about, really; but it's the kind of music I hear in dreams. (Not al all like The Fall, in case you're wondering).
Me and my brother were once at a Waterson's concert, sat at the front, in a folk club in Hampstead. We wanted a fag, but felt it might be a bit rude, what with them singing and everything: and you know how singers can be. But after they had all done a few songs together, there was a kind of break where the two woman sang a a couple of songs: and Mike went to the back of the stage to have a fag. We felt released. It was a pub, anyway.
