Oh. His legacy will go on. Far into the next generation. And no doubt the generation after that. Oh and... One more thing: This is guaranteed as Columbo episodes are rather cheap to air.

The good lieutenant would've had Midsomer cleared up in a single episode. Which would have been a Good Thing. ~ We once rented a gite near PĂ©rigord that looked exactly like a Columbo set. Except for the owner, who was a Dane with a dog called Balthazar. Can't remember the Dane's name, but his wife looked like Mai Zetterling.

The genius of Columbo was his perfect charm toward his chief suspect and wooing them with compliments and requesting their advice. A wonderful show and genius performance from Falk. ...and that's the last time I call a television series a show...I'm a bit americanised...goddamn!. ( and what the ell is that smiley?)

Cool, hepcat, cool. I just realised that I never watched much of Columbo, even though I did like it. That may change now.

And at the end of all the busyness...nothing has changed...so what a waste of time.

Loved the way he used to bumble around and give the impression that he was a bit of a brainless tool and not to be feared or taken seriously as a threat to the crims...while all the time, he was busy well sussing out who the villians were. I am the master of Bumble. Popping back at the end of a task just when everyone thinks they are off the hook is my secret weapon.
Unfortunately it is ususally after a supermarket shop, when I realise I forgot to ask for the stamps at the checkout.
