So, almost finished watching the "Logan's Run" TV series wot I did rob of the interwires...absolutley fantastic. This is a childhood series that is just as good as I remember it, love the wandering around the post apocalyptic landscape and discovering all the new civilisations and groups that have arrisen. Heather Menzies is stunningly cute as "Jessica 6", Gregory Harrison provides an excellent "Logan 5", Randy Powell gives us a great "Francis 7" (determined to hunt down Logan, but far from a standard evil badie) and Donald Moffat provides our heros (and us viewers) with info about "outside" and some great comic relief as the Android "REM" They are allegedly putting this onto DVD this year, I bloody well hope so...because it deserves a fully restored, official release. Highly recommended viewing as far as I am concerned...I can easily forgive some hokey costumes and sets because of the great characters and adventure-tastic stories. AH

Fish, plankton, sea greens... protein from the sea! I have indeed, Weyland, one of my faves, had to import the DVD from the US years ago (it's available in the UK now though I believe). Jenny Agutter was hot as Hell in that flick. Highly recommend grabbing the TV series if you are partial to the original film, it's great fun. AH

Michael York, though.
I remember a version of Great Expectations, where the youth puts a red hot iron in a barrel of water and when he pulls it out he's turned into Michael York, the poor bugger.
