Is anybody worried that their house might get hit by this out-of-control satellite that's due to fall to earth tonight? Apparently, it's much more likely you'll be crushed to death by it than get a hole in one at golf or win the lottery jackpot. blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/tomchiversscience/100106924/nasa-satellite-plunging-to-earth-how-to-avoid-fiery-death/Apparently, if you look up to the sky at 9pm tonight (about 5 minutes time) you might see a shooting star that is the satellite. I just opened the curtains a fraction, but it looks a bit cloudy. Don't think I'll bother.

thats a great article. BTW you are far more likely to win the lottery than be hit by the satellite, similar order of magnitude to winning the lottery twice in a row.

I feel suitably prepared... AH I thought I might give the runabout an outing . . . (The Sulaco's away on company business. Don't ask.)

That's a great little runabout Weyland but I'd hate to be beside you at the traffic lights. I mean, the size of those loudspeakers! But I bet if you play Genesis at full volume the vibrations would deflect any falling space debris.

I know the scenario you mean, though. Endured some of it only yesterday in Chester. It's even worse when you're on foot. I'm sure the road was shaking.
