I want to see Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (but every time I try I get headed off at the pass).

It's supposed to be good.

Except if you are Peter Hitchens in the Mail in which case it is a "Travesty: The film version of John le Carre's classic thriller is unforgivably awful".

But he's read the book. You can't expect to like a film if you've read the book.
