She didn't last long on WHS...probably because she couldn't get any kind of handle on the spats, and anyway, they were just boring if you weren't directly involved, and ought to have been even if you were. She also had posts removed, which she probably though meant the place wasn't for her. (But really, posters there can be as rude as they like if they're careful how they phrase it.) I've never understood message board politics and try to avoid Trouble (not Trubble of course)
The only place I've met real hostility was on The Cakeboard - and as the abuse was dished out by the administrator I didn't have mcuh option but to quit.

It can't have been as bad as MCL! Not as bad as some of the stuff doled out to others on MCL, no. No-one has been rude to me on MCL, and I suppose that's the difference! Oh, unless you count that time I quit MCL after something Exco said...but that was more a case of "I can't be bothered to reply to this drivel" than a serious upset. |
