I took the dismal-lack-of-entertainment opportunity to re-watch some Horizon and Brian Cox stuff (and his new one: a Night with the Stars).
I am beginning to understand what they are talking about. Scary thought.
It'll be Alright On The Night is on tonight. A new episode. With Griff Rhys-Jones instead of Denis Norden. I doubt it will be as good without the clipboard.

So, I managed to not watch any of the stuff I said I would yesterday, instead, I watched "Ice Cold in Alex" & "The Naked Prey" (which was pretty God damn awesome) AH

Last night I watched... ...not seen it for a long time and it was just as good as I remember and also helped to reinforce my belief that "He who fucks with Charles Bronson will end up being rather dead". There will be another outbreak of desert warfare tonight when I hope to take in... And AH

Can't see any films worth watching on FreeSat this evening. Might watch a couple of recorded Wallanders I haven't seen yet.
Second thoughts, I have an unopened Borg boxed set. That's more like it.

Talking of Syndics, I just came across this interesting item on Wiki: "The [Cambridge University] Press also undertook a sizable co-publishing venture with Oxford: the Revised Version of the Bible, which was begun in 1870 and completed in 1885. It was in this period as well that the Syndics of the Press turned down what later became the Oxford English Dictionary—a proposal for which was brought to Cambridge by James Murray (lexicographer) before he turned to Oxford."
