Sleep injuries are very unlikely due to ones body going into "standby" mode when we rest...which is just as well...my dream of Karate-ing moslem armies to death would lead to serious injuries if my body was acting out said dreams.  Like SWL though, I have injured myself when waking up...I recounted this horrific, traumatising experience on one of our forums...woke up with agonising cramp rolled out of bed and twatted my bonce on my bedside table. Ow.  Edit: My Airfix models were usually displayed on shelves and the like.  AH |

I often go in the channel on saturday nights and was in from around 11 - 12 last night but no one turned up so I left, only to find now that you guys arrived just after!

I was drunk last night (first time in ages) so was up until about 4 listening to tunes. (How is it that music sounds so GOOD when you're drunk?) I went OUT last night. To the other side of town. Ages away. And I wasn't here when the police came round (as they always seem to do over the weekend) which was funny. The good news is that, last night, my kids had done nothing wrong!! The police only came round because one of the Dads of one of the girls in our house had reported her missing. And then I went back to the pub just there for brunch! And had 2 large glasses of wine! So am drunk again. Because I was too hungover to go to the gym (which is what I normally do on a Sunday). I am having the most irresponsible weekend I've had for ages. Which is great. |

I was also drunk last night. And as for the music, you are right, I also find that it is never quite loud enough when some beerski's have been consumed (even though everybody else in the street thinks that it's too loud). AH |

...........and there's me been on tea and coffee all day!  Cheers! I made a mistake in Aldi yesterday 'cos of their stupid habit of not putting the prices in the right places - I saw this wine box for £5.99! and seeing only two left on the shelf I thought I oughtn't to miss out on that! Of course, I was looking at the wrong price wasn't I! and was in fact £13.99 poorer for it.  Nice wine though! Anyway, injuries - There was a bit of hurt pride when one morning my radio came on a little louder than usual and "made me jump" Literally - I jumped out of bed and ran straight into the bedroom wall Arms and Legs akimbo, I expected there to be a "Tom and Jerry" style dent in the wall, showing where I'd hit! |

My brother in law's a gas man (works for the gas board). In fact, both my sisters have partners called Bob. The other one's a brickie. We just call them Bob the builder and Bob the gas man to tell them apart. |
