I read that it was whales, bouncing their rear ends all at the same time (I read this yesterday). I like the Japanese though, generally. One Japanese girl (sorry, woman: but they all look about 14) once gave me some delicious Japanese chocolate biscuits: probably because she liked the bubblewrap I had just sold her. No, she was just nice.

Maybe I should try and justify that "14" crack.
I would have said that she was about 17, adjusting for Japanese body type etc: but she was over here buying antiques (which is why she wanted the bubblewrap) so she must really have been at least 30.
Maybe the thing about liking the Japanese needs elaboration as well. We sold protective packaging, mainly to people who had bought antiques and wanted to ship them home, so we had a lot of different nationalities in. Japanese people were the best to deal with, and USians weren't far behind (though we didn't have as many of them). Actually, most people were fine. We once had some trouble with an Arab bloke, but we also had a lot of Arabs who were really nice to deal with. All individuals. But I did like the Japanese. The chocolate biscuits (in the shape of tree stumps, the chocolate being the soil around the roots) were lovely.
I was once serving a German bloke and forgot to press the ok when I'd finished with the credit card machine. After a couple of minutes it started bleeping. The German bloke looked at it and said, "Ah! Japanese! Not responsible."
What the hell is this thread about? It's late, and I'm a little bit drunk.
