I was perusing rightmove this afternoon and thought I would take a look at my old village to see what ridiculously idiotic prices now are. Lo and behold - the people who bought our house now have it on the market!! Stands to reason really, they had young children when they'd have moved in in '88, who now will have left home.......... We sold it - then with two bedrooms for £70,000. Moving out in February 1987. Can't believe that coincidence though........ Stub Crouch TodayIt's described as a "Period Property" An outright lie because only the chimney breast, the front facade and one wall of the living room are original now! The original part was put up in 1920. Oh, and they've cleverly taken pictures to make all the space seem bigger that it actually is outside. Talk about property misdescription!!!

The pictures did seem to have a bit of, erm "perspective" to them didn't they? ;D
Still, nice looking pad in what looks like a very nice setting.

AH No mention of the M26 motorway just a deafening half mile away from the back door of course. If you were used to life before it arrived like I was - Ruins any enjoyment out the back. I see they tore down the cooking apple and the pear tree! that we had - philistines!

I live in a built up area, there is a tunnel aproach road less than 50 yards away from my back garden....if I lived in your old pad, I would think I was living in splendid isolation. AH
