A pensioner interviewed on the radio this week has decided to use these words for her first ever tattoo.
If you have a tattoo, what is it? Don't be embarrassed to admit you have more than one.
And if you don't have any but were to get one done, what would it be?

I once scratched the name of a girl I was going out with on the back of my hand, with a pair of compasses. But I didn't ink it in, and it went quite quickly. (Karen. Nearly all straight lines.)

Yes, I heard this on the radio today. I've been telling Mr. E., half jokingly, that we should get tattoos done next year for our 40th wedding anniversary. I feel that since I've known him for 45 years, it would be fairly safe to have his name tattooed on my body. Trouble is, I don't know where. I wouldn't want it anywhere that can be seen, such as my ankle or shoulder, but at the same time, I'm not keen on showing more private parts of my body to some greasy old tattooist. I think tattoos are a bit old hat now anyway. The time to have had one done was about 20 years ago. I thought I was daring, back in the 1980s, when I had my ears pierced for the second time. I now have two holes in each ear lobe, but only ever wear one pair of earrings.

I have one tattoo..on my left hip... The tattoist said it means
" Real/True/Sincere"
But I suspect it's probably
" Egg fried rice and a portion of chips"

Yet another happy outcome on The Crouch. Fluff all round on the house! Case closed. ~ Other messageboards -- eat your hearts out, if any.

Flirted with the idea since I was about 16...always relieved a every few years since then when I think..."that design would have been totally dickish, glad I bottled out".

A few.
A sailing ship on left bicep, Lion Rampant & "Nemo Me Impune Lacessit" on the right bicep. Grim Reaper on my shoulder blade, pair of eyes on my arse. And another one elsewhere.
