The thing is, I've been watching the tv programme "The League of Gentlemen" all evening. One of the channels was having an evening of it.
Does anyone else find it funny? I just love it and hope I'm not alone.
This clip does tend to stop and start unfortunately. You have to be patient.

No you're not strange at all. It's wonderful. When you're in the mood. The film got panned but I liked it.

Friend of mine and I go through a routine each time he stays - About the dangers of Onanism and hoping there'll be "No solids in this house!" - At the end of the evening I'll knock on his door with a "Benjamin! I hope you're behaving in there - or I might have to send in The Toads!" "Nipples like Bullets" is another favourite! (Ever since I've been on the hormones.....) The radio series was the original and best though. No-one has explained though; why "Spent" (The original name for the town) became Royston Vaisey? Another annoying thing was, whilst the first series of the radio version was released on disc, as yet - the second series has only (AFAIK) been released in a box set with the first Television series. I'll have to check to see if they've re-released it yet.

Apparently Royston Vasey is his real name!

I have a vague reminiscent of that. I can only assume that the one or two changes in the story line meant a name change was a good idea.

You are obviously a woman of exquisite taste and refinement Mrs E, I have the complete DVD box set of "The LoG". Dark, deeply disturbing and incredibly funny. "Everybody out"uk.youtube.com/watch?v=3CzYEvgfl3kAH

Tubbs coming out of the loo and saying "I've just made a little brown fish" always makes my toes curl. Can't find it on youtube though
