I know I shouldn't make light of it, but bears are some of the coolest animals on the planet, so they get a pass to do some bad stuff now and then.

Up until I read that I wondered if they were wandering free. In parts of the U.S where there are bears living naturally, some have become unafraid of man - because the local picnic spot had become too much of a temptation with all the food around and litter etc.
