Has anyone heard from Alan Seago?

I'm wondering how he and Anne are, because I suspect they may have been in the Philippines when the hurricane struck.

For those of you who know Alan Seago, who has a Philippina wife, they are well. He recently had a splendid house built over there and has been dividing his time between The Philippines and France. Here is what he said in response to my inquiry yesterday.

"Thank you, dear Susan for your concern and your kind wishes. We are in France at the moment, our house is in Bacolod and suffered little damage, loose floor tiles and our two fir trees. The poor people in wooden houses suffered most and are desperate for food and shelter; the administration seems to have reacted efficiently and honestly.
We are hoping to go there permanently in the new year and settle down.

Anne and Alan."
