I was a Tiswaz man myself... ...and a follower of the original masked urban terrorist. AH

Ah yes, Tiswas or Swap Shop. I chose Swap Shop as I had the hots for Sarah Greene.

Don't forget that Tiswas was common. I watched the multi coloured swap shop.

Indeed. Tiswas was for the seventies 'chavs'. (sorry Alph) They needed visual stimulants much akin to the audiences of silent movies...hence the custard pies. One cannot imagine Edmonds showering John Craven in lots of goo.
But alas, Noel now entertains the chav classes every day by just one question and 22 unopened red boxes.
Wereas Tarrant's Millionaires need at least one brain cell.

...and looking back at the wrestling...imagine today pot bellied middle aged balding men in brightly coloured underpants being a big draw?
It got millions of viewers.

Craven must be one of the very few that didn't go on Noel's House Party then.

There are no chavs within the "Free Republik of Merseytopia" - there are Scallies & La's. And Tiswas may have been common, but it was a Keith Chegwin free zone...and that counts for something in my world! ;D AH

If TISWAS was o.k. for the Eversos, you can believe it was o.k. for everyone. Think no more about it.
