I'm not keen on pregnant tummies on show (although at least this looks interesting from an arty viewpoint). I feel that pregnant tums should be protected and kept under wraps. By all means show off when you're pregnant - I couldn't wait to wear my maternity clothes, although by the time the 9 months was up I was sick to death of them - but exposing a bare pregnant tum looks, well a bit common. Oooo, I've said the word! How snobbish of me.

Paint on a ghoulish face, put on a fluffy green cardi ,wrap your arms around said tum and you would deter all but the most diehard mugger.

I foresee a great market in comedy tummy paint jobs - Like having a couple of barcodes on there and a few packing case arrows and "This Way Up" in the middle. Or an exit sign, arrow and "This Way Out" perhaps?
