I am still on this lengthy language course. But a few weeks ago one of the teachers said to us "who fancies trying the Food Hygiene test?" (hygieniapassi in Finnish). Seeing as it was a freebie and I had experience with such, I plopped my hand up alongside others I did the test today (English text) and I passed! Damn good! This thing is a great bonus here. Even if you don't work directly with food, it is sometimes an advantage if, say, you are applying to work in an office where you can make your own lunch in the kitchen And I didn't even study for it

Congratulations, Moto. Sounds a strange test to count towards getting a job in an office, though. Don't we all presume we know enough not to poison ourselves while at work?

A friend of Saara's found it an advantage in getting a job in Hotel Reception. I thought "wha'?". Still, anything that gives me an advantage I'll go for When in Rome and all that... ;D

It sounds like a good thing to get under your belt anyway - likewise First Aid training that can swing it for a job.
Well done!
