It's nearly half ten on a Sunday and only Everso & I appear to be up.
I'm about to go to the gym for a workout and a yoga class, and you lot are all still abed nursing your hangovers.
You should all be ashamed of yourselves.
Please post your excuses in this thread:

What are you gabbing about? I was up long before now. 10am my time, which is 8am where you are, Rip Van Winkle . I have, however been playing "Dead Space" which is much more interesting than waiting for you lot to fall out of bed ;D

Only just up. Woke up at about 8, but then thought I'd have another five minutes. Then half the day's gone. Dreamt I was being molested by five women. One of them said 'we are going to do depraved things to you...' I woke up briefly and desperately tried to get back to sleep to resume my 'predicament'. No such luck.

Well, as usual for a Sunday I set my alarm for 10:45 - to hear just enough of that "Everyday story of Middle Class folk" - The Archers - to know what was going on but not enough to raise my blood pressure too much at the inordinately stupid storylines brought about by the 12 year olds in charge these days. Plus being just in time to be up and sitting with a cup of tea for when Countryfile starts. If it's worth watching that is. I might even get dressed in a minute. ;D Many years ago, I would be up at around 9:30 at the weekends fairly regularly. Then I spent a period of time getting up for work at 4:20am every morning for about 6 months with only a brief reprieve on Sundays of 6:30 - Permanently with no days off, thanks to incompetent middle managers. It did my head in after a while. So whilst I can appreciate early mornings if they occur naturally - I don't go out of my way to embrace them.

A long time ago -after my colleague had been sacked for threatening a member of staff- I did a 3 month stint of always being the on-call techie. No days off, being called out EVERY night to log in to the systems and fix crap, and so on. Almost had a total breakdown (no exaggeration) before my manager finally convinced her bosses to get their arses in gear and get a techie from one of the other teams, until we could find another permanent on-call person

I was up at a respectable time this morning, as noted by Riot. We drove down to Dagenham to see Mr. E.'s mum, had lunch, drove back, I've baked a cake and prepped dinner (stir fry - there's nothing like a good old Sunday roast) and am just having a nice glass of wine before making a start.
Quite a full day - it's good to get up early! ;D

I was up at 8am and off to do a day's training.
It's now 6pm and I'm now trained.

I give no excuses. I am not a morning person especially at the weekend.
If I was at work I would normally be up at seven, but since I am not and am being a layabout, I am enjoying lazing in bed most mornings.
You're only jealous!!!
