Yes, a few bars that you feel you know... it's practice for when we are old and memory failing. Hope it's not rude to ask but, did you survive the day then?

Hope it's not rude to ask but, did you survive the day then? Yes, just about. Wasn't a very rewarding meeting though as corporate devils dismissed most of my points and are going to carry on regardless of what I want. They are going to come back to me about some things though, but have not told me when this will be. Upshot I think will be that I either take them to employment tribunal or lose my job, which may happen either way. I just want the whole thing over and done with. I can't take much more and neither can my health!!!

I recognised quite a few of the songs but could only put a name to about 3 or 4. Shameful, I know, but I kind of lost touch with music in the 80s and never really got back on track. I was never much good, even in the 60s, at giving the correct name to a record or even knowing the artist (unless, of course, if was one of my favourites: The Kinks, Who, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Small Faces) I tend to listen to Radio Four nowadays and seldom have music on. I feel ashamed actually

I haven't tried it yet. Will I go and do it now?
I'm going to lie and say I got them all right anyway, so what's the point?

True. Comforting and True. Comforting and True and Sensible. Giant... laugh at them!

OK.
Definitely know (song and artist and probably on my iPod): 4, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 23, 24, 26, 27, 30, 31.
Absolutely no idea at all: 1, 5, 6, 17, 19, 21, 22, 25, 28, 29, 33
And would definitely get if I could listen a 3rd or 4th time, or with a longer snippet: 3, 10, 11, 18, 20, 32, 34
Stopped writing things down in categories: 35.
I thought I'd do better than that. I've let myself down, I've let my parents down, I've let the Stub down. I apologise.
