Oh bless!!
We have only ever had one `kitten` and he was weaned when we got him.
That was nearly 25 years ago and since then we have taken either rescue cats or in two cases they just `arrived`

Aww, I love kittens! When we had our 2 they were only about 8 weeks old. That was over 20 years ago now, both sadly gone.

Swl, keep us updated as he/she grows. I love pussycats (although we don't have one now).
I loved her dear little pink paws. Sweet.

We got two kittens soon after we were married and one of them was a complete maniac. She was the runt of the litter I think and was half the size of her more placid sister, and twice the trouble.
I blame Jack, who had first choice from the litter and chose her because she was "different." I'll say! I couldn't wait for her to grow up into something more sensible.

Aahh! Just wait until they get more adventurous. Years ago we got a new kitten which caused all sorts of trouble. My dad used to be first up in the mornings and she would lie in wait for him. He got wise to this and would try to spot her, but never could. She would suddenly appear, charge at him and go ... straight up the leg of his pyjamas, claws at the ready. The other favourite was climbing the curtains!!!

Oh, and her other trick when she was small was to get in Mum's fruit bowl and run round and round in it. Until one day she did it so fast she and the bowl ended up on the floor. Cat survived, bowl did not!!!

I remembe rbeing on the phone when one of them jumped on the table and made off with my hard-fried egg. What worried me was on Sunday Siobhan (the kids next door in Birmingham had called her 'Violence') arriving home with a hot half roast potato. I avoided the neighbours for some time after that!

Grandparents had a long haired Ginger and White Tom. Boy he was butch! Once dragging a whole joint of beef from out of the back of the grill part of the oven onto the floor for himself!

I can beat that - my kitten once brought home a whole cow.
No, not really, but she did manage to drag a live partridge through the cat flap and lock both it and herself in the downstairs loo!

One dark and stormy night (well, it might not have been but it's a good start to any story!) There was a terrible squeal heard out at the back of the very house you see above - the squeal travelled looking up there from the very left to the very right (except the other way round for me, cos I was inside! A little later the cat came in looking v.smug. The next day, Dad went out to the garage and found a dead stoat out there!
