If you are carrying a few extra pounds and are in imminent danger of going large, a new calorie-labelling scheme promoted by the Food Standards Agency could be your salvation. Under the plan, 18 companies, including high street chains such as KFC and Burger King, will publish the calorie content of their foods on their menus alongside the price. So, bearing in mind the recommended daily intake of 2,500 kcal for men and 2,000 kcal for women, how do some of the chains' worst offenders measure up?
Pizza Hut Mediterranean Meat Deluxe Cheesy Bites Pizza: 4,392 kcal (eight slices to share) (Shown Above)
Harvester Ultimate BBQ Stack Burger: 2,130 kcal
Burger King limited offer Double Texican Whopper burger: 1,239
Wimpy jacket potato with grated cheese: 973 kcal
KFC Tower Zinger Burger: 668 kcal
Pret A Manger cheddar, roast tomatoes and pickle bloomer: 668 kcalFunny isn't it. One side of the Government huffs and puffs and panics about the obesity epidemic, whilst the other side lets the likes of KFC, Dominoes and Subway massively expand their operations in the country in the interests of creating more jobs! Foot, Shooting, In, Themselves, The.

If you eat only one of the eight slices of pizza (depending what else was available) that doesn't sound too bad - though you'd be sick of the thing by the end of the week and the dog would just end up very fat.
How big i that pizza? You anticipate it would only last a couple of days but I don't think I could manage half one of the flying saucer sized things that some companies sell
