I think Alistair Campbell is hot. He gives me the thrill. Get help, Riot. He's only hot in the sense that a steaming pile on the pavement is hot. He's Scottish? Ramsay's Scottish? News to me. If I were you I wouldn't be admitting it. Next you'll be telling me that Blair is too.

Riot, Campbell was born in Yorkshire. His name is Scottish, that's all.

Riot, Campbell was born in Yorkshire. His name is Scottish, that's all. And he plays the bagpipes. And he swears. Plus, he's a bit ginger. Plus, both his parents are Scottish-born. He'd get a game for the Scottish national football team; ergo he's Scottish.

Rubbish! He was born in England. He's English.
In much the same way that Asians born over here aren't Indian or Pakistani.

In much the same way as a kitten born in my house won't grow up to be human. Not quite the same thing. However, having said all this, I agree with you that AC is reasonably good looking, but I wouldn't kick Mr. E. out of bed for him.

I'll tell him that later on. We had a bit of a set to this morning and he waltzed out of the house with me still trying to tell him off.

Jonathan Miller's Archive on 4 was as interesting as we thought it might be so if you missed it, don't miss 3pm Monday, or the iplayer.
Also don't miss Kathy Burke on Desert Island Discs.
I nominate them both for National Treasures.

I nominate them both for National Treasures. Not half! Loved where she described herself as "the little bloke in the skirt". Missed most of JM, but I'll listen on Monday.

I listened to Kathy Burke on Desert Island Discs on both days. I love her. She was so funny as Waynetta Slob but her Perry was the best, with "his" up and down voice "Hello Mrs. Patterson". Great stuff.
