1. The Hour. Anyone else watching this little goodie? Anyone? Anyone? It's rubbish! Within the first five minutes of the first episode, two women embraced. At work. In the 1950s. I could see that the details were so inaccurate that I stopped watching then and there. So different from Mad Men, where they'd got it exactly right. (As a letter in this week's Radio Times pointed out, there are plenty of survivors from that period still around - why didn't they just ask?)

I wasn't able to watch it, so I'm unable to comment.

Stop it, please. I have tried to come up with a witty riposte, but failed.

Stop it, please. I have tried to come up with a witty riposte, but failed. I blame Post-Swat Stress Disorder. I committed a blunder yesterday and someone else had to be made to suffer. I'm better now.

1. The Hour. Anyone else watching this little goodie? Anyone? Anyone? 2. The Killing (US version on Ch 4) Vair good. Vair vair good. No one tell me who dunnit or I will kill you. 3. 2012 Heehee. Very nice. Quietly cool. 1. No, I watched about 10 minutes of the first episode and didn't take to it. I love the young fella in it though, Ben Whishaw. He was in a series a few years back (Criminal Justice) and he just blew me away. He was so convincing in it. 2. The butler did it. 3. 2012 is excellent. I think they are repeating the series at the moment, but it showed here a couple of months ago. Hugh Bonneville is brilliant in it, as is Jessica Hynes ("O.K., here's the thing")

Yes, I guessed there would be some complaints but I decided to ignore them; I find it quite endearing that they are so proud of some of their props that they show them off unashamedly (never has a cupboard been so organised as the heroine's kitchen cupboard). I like it anyway and the story is good.

(Did you ever see that Dennis the Pennis episode where he went up to people just entering the theatre where that show* was playing and told them that the Butler Did It? Awful, awful, man but I DID like him. ;D) * keeping it quiet just in case anyone doesn't know;D I saw bits of it before but I am only just watching the whole thing now. It's a classic.

Yes, I guessed there would be some complaints but I decided to ignore them... It's all very well for you - you don't remember.

Trubble - wasn't it the Policeman, not the Butler?
