I can't quite remember how Chris did this, but given there are few of us and many films, I aim to do it quickly.
So vote for your 4 favourites, and after a week we'll lob off the low-scoring films and do a new poll.
Let's try to find the Stub's favourite Disney film within 3 or 4 weeks.
As ever, please use the thread to lobby for your favourites, diss the rest, etc.
REMEMBER YOU HAVE FOUR VOTES FOR YOUR FAVOURITES.
If you screw up and only vote once because you haven't read this properly, you can retract your vote and go again.

We've missed Pocahontas - my fault - I meant to come here last night and point out that it was the last one that was drawn completely by hand, and that you most definitely can tell the difference. The animators drew her to their own personal preferences, hence she sometimes appears more full-figured than other times, sometimes she's all about the bottom and sometimes it's the boobs etc.
I voted Jungle Book - if that doesn't win, I'm putting in for transfer to another herd and Alph & I will be setting up our own rival survivors competition and voting off our least favourite Stubbies one by one.
Then Peter Pan. Obviously!
Then Lady and the Tramp for the songs and the Peggy Lee and the spaghetti.
Then Robin Hood; although I'm not bothered about it myself, it's Mini-Trub's favourite so it crept into my heart that way.

Apologies for Poca, but she who hesitates is lost.
I'll give it a by into the 2nd round and include it then.

Why can't I see the running totals? Is this a fix? Are you just going to vote off the ones you don't like and say that's what we voted for?

The results of the poll will become clear to all when it is unlocked.
It is kept secret just now to avoid tactical voting.

I voted Cinderella, Jungle Book, Peter Pan and Lady and the Tramp.
I saw Lady and the Tramp when it was first released (1955) and Peggy Lee's voice is wonderful in it. The Jungle Book I took my brother to see when he was a little boy, as well as Peter Pan (a re-release in the 60s).
I had a clockwork Cinderella dancing doll that you wound up and it went round and round, too. Wish I knew what happened to it - it's probably worth a few bob now (almost being an antique, that is)

Or even if you don't think it but meant to think it. Like Pocahontas. Other Disney films that didn't make the shortlist include: - Mulan - it was okay, quite good, a nice strong female lead and a funny Eddie Murphy who later went on to be Donkey in Shrek, I imagine because he played Mushu so well here.
- Tarzan - Meh. It has Minnie Driver in it so...meh again.
- Hercules - Entertaining but not a classic.
- Beauty and the Beast - I hate Belle. I hate the Beast. I hated the film. Hate. Ed. Eet.
- The Hunchback of Notre Dame - yet another strong female role - some nice festival atmosphere and colourful - otherwise a bit head wrecking.
- The Emperor's New Groove
Hilarious film with actual funny gags and one liners. Eartha Kitt playes the baddie. The dark horse of the competition had anyone watched it. - Fantasia - Controversial. Probably best that it wasn't included as surely no one has ever kept awake through the entire film in one go?
There are so many films!

i think it should count if you say it. or even if you just think it. I'm convinced. I will add on Sesley's votes (if she has not voted) at the end of the poll. Those who set a poll can see who has all voted and who hasn't, and you will all be able to see the poll results, so hopefully that will convince you that there is no jiggery pokery in this important matter.

Pirates of the Caribbean !!! Are you asking specifically for this to get a by to the 2nd round, or are you just trying to wind me up by suggesting new films once the poll has closed?
