Now Sesley has voted and SWL hasn't . . it's crazy. SWL & Costal - I only used the 'smack bottom' smiley because there wasn't one for slapping you round your heads and giving you a stern look. Weyland - The Herbie movie in the poll represents all Herbie movies. Like a hoover represents vacuum cleaners. OK? I will rule out a whole bunch of movies after round 1, add in all the new suggested ones that I decide have passed the courtesy test, and we'll go again. However, I am not going to rule in all of Trub's suggestions, as nobody's ever heard of most of them and I suspect she is just showing off. [glow=red,2,300] Chris/TOT, you just aren't very good at this undercover-posting thing, are you? ;D[/glow] I reckon the winner's probably obvious already (several people have predicted it and the voting, so far, reflects this) so the really interesting battle will be for 2nd and 3rd place.

I voted. I love democracy. AH I did too. Again. I love this kind of new-labour democracy.

Weyland - The Herbie movie in the poll represents all Herbie movies. Like a hoover represents vacuum cleaners. OK? Certainly not. It's like saying that the latest version of The Taking of Pelham 123 is even close to being in the same league as the original. Or War of the Worlds ditto. Or yaddayadda. Or that sequels are not shite. (There are rare exceptions, mind you, such as Aliens).

All voting should cease entirely until all voters have watched The Emperor's New Groove - else how will the vote be fair?

I'ver only seen a few of them so it wasn't hard to choose. My cousin, brought up on Kipling's stories, hates Disney's Jungle Book and would never forgive me for voting for it... you don't need to know whether I did. I won't tell on you, Housey. I love the Just So Stories and I voted for the Jungle Book. I think Kipling would forgive me.

Not all members have voted yet in this important poll.
You only have a few more days before the next exciting round.

Also, ten people have voted, but only 34 votes have been cast.
YOU HAVE FOUR VOTES EACH PEOPLE.
YOU CAN VOTE FOR FOUR, NOT ONE.
(If you have only voted for one, and now want to do it properly, you can retract your current vote and re-vote, using all 4.)

THE ARISTOCATS
How can you people overlook this amazing film?
Thomas O'Malley the Alley Cat, the man who bravely takes on a single parent and her cute kids. A biting commentary on our class system.
Everybody wants to be a cat . . .

The whole thing has degenerated into farce. My apologies to Walt Disney and his family. I had absolutely no role in this whatsoever. I think it's the first time an idea of mine has been stolen however.

Farce?
That's a bit harsh.
It's the Stubbie way. On the surface it appears casual, even chaotic, but underneath it all is the infrastructure and discipline of the Red Army.
The Stub can be deceptive . . .
