I was in the chatroom for 10 minutes there talking to SWL, but it kicked me out.
Apparently I was lagging before that. At least, I think that's what SWL said.
I think we need some new chat technology. I know Rob says there's no reason for it, but it does seem that the one we're using is mildly problematic at times.

I was logged in from around 9.30 until 10, lured by the expectation of seeing Weyland. The name "luc" was at the top, but despite my entreaties, I couldn't get him in there to play.

(You aren't luc, are you Weyland?) Certainly not. I'm really Rod Stewart. I was there from about 22:00 until about 23:00. Only got kicked out by time-outs this week. I suspect last week's problem was the link, not the software or the Everso Conspiracy. This week she's deliberately and cold-bloodedly waited until I've logged off before appearing. Women -- 'twas ever thus (or "ever so" as they say in the vulgate). Not that I'm bitter. |

If you are lagging and pinging out of the room I set up, you should do the same to the one here (as they are essentially identical), but we can try to see if it is better. |

I think the Stub chat room might be a good idea on Friday night.
No offence Rob. I like your chat room, but if others are finding it difficult to get in and Riot keeps getting chucked out, maybe we should revert to the Stub one.
And Swl's right, it's good to know when someone's arriving.
