The lemon clock up there is an hour fast. It's showing 13:03.

I've always thought of it as an orange. Pervert. If Riot wasn't in Amsterdam/Belgrade I'm sure she'd give you a good talking to.

It is, without doubt, an orange.
I would have preferred a physalis actually.

It is, without doubt, an orange. I would have preferred a physalis actually. Concise Oxford: physalis noun
a plant of a genus that includes the Cape gooseberry and Chinese lantern, which has an inflated lantern-like calyx. [Genus Physalis.]
ORIGIN: modern Latin, from Greek phusallis 'bladder'.. . . OR . . . Portuguese man-of-war noun
a floating jellyfish-like marine coelenterate with a number of polyps, a conspicuous, often blue float, and long stinging tentacles. [Physalia physalis.]

The fruit, not the jellyfish. I wouldn't eat a jellyfish if you paid me.

The fruit, not the jellyfish. I wouldn't eat a jellyfish if you paid me. I have heard that there is a restaurant in or near Barcelona -- formerly "the best restaurant in the world", before that ridiculous posers' place in Denmark they had on MasterChef -- where the speciality is jellyfish. I am not kidding. Never had the fruit (or the coelenterate). Looks interesting (the fruit).

Are you saying your lemon is showing the right time, Costy? I've obviously set my personal profile Board time settings to GMT+0. Surely the clock is a Board feature -- not profile, seeing as how I can't choose my own kind of clock -- controllable by Admin. Not so? Please explicate. What gender of jellyfish?

I've voted for grapefruit please. Can anyone explain the reason that during the 70s and 80s we used to eat a grapefruit half with a glacé cherry on top? What was the point of the glacé cherry???

I never did. I can't stand glacé cherries, or any other glacé fruit. It was a plot by the International Glacé Cartel, a front organisation for the notorious Women's Institute mob. The glacé threat may have subsided for the moment, but the WI is still there in the shadows, more paaahhhful than ever.

Glace-ing cherries does take away all the cherry taste, as I remember. They were just sweet, with not much taste.
