I have never thught of Melody as "behaving like a man" and am not quite sure which of her qualities yu mean. She tries to steamroller everyone else to her point of view, and didn't Lord Sugar criticise two of the men (including Tom) for not standing up to her and "acting like men"?

He's the one Trubs christened NornIron. He's all blarney in the worst possible sense. Sralan should sack him and Suzie the same week. I'm sure they'd be very happy together. I hope the final is between Melody and Natasha. I can imagine Nat dishing all the dirt, big-time, no holds barred. Then sack the pair of them and recall Zoe.

Susie could still pull this out of the bag. She's a little too inscrutable for my liking.

Melody won't win. She's too bossy and argumentative.

Jim's redeeming features are his charm and humour - also has a lot of drive. He is also full of bull and we are all looking forward to the interviews.
Melody comes across as a little sour; maybe we haven't been shown her human side. She didn't say goodbye to Zoe, presumably to punish her for bringing her into the boardroom. That smacks of a spoilt brat who is used to getting her own way by bullying.
Susie actually comes across as a bit insecure. I can't remember seeing her do anything remarkable.
Tom is very likeable guy who has done even less than Susie.
Which leaves Natasha and Helen, and I hope Helen wins.

We like Helen because she's passive - what's not to like? We don't like Melody because she behaves like a man. That's the long and short of it. I deny your analysis.

Pedants' Corner Department: Reject. No, I deny it. The sentence was truncated . . I deny her analysis has any validity.

Well, that was a turn-up for the books.
The divine Helen blotted her copy book a little by showing that she's maybe not quite the spark we thought.
And Jedi Jim came across well - like Nick I found myself liking him for once.
Natasha will go next week. She's rubbish.

I was glad to see the back of Melody. Her voice was really getting on my nerves.
Yes, Natasha. She's for the chop.

Susie is gaining my respect. She went a little "off piste" buying those bracelets and it would have gone against her had her team lost...but it didn't. I'm not sure what that fine was all about: I thought Lord Sugar was supposed to like initiative?
And I don't understand why Helen rounded on Tom. Presumably she didn't like him saying that he had been let down by both girls when she thought the blame should fall solely upon Melody?

As I suggested a week or two ago, Sralan withdrew the reward. I think that underlines the uniformly low quality of all of them this year. And that's really saying something in the context of The Apprentice. Can you see him donating £250,000 to ANY of these dopes? Be honest. I wouldn't mind having a pint with Jim, but he couldn't sell me anything with that patter. If I heard it correctly (was on the phone), Ruby Wax thought Tom would win. That would be a real surprise. Natasha — a non-starter Jim — mostly gob Helen — busted flush Tom — concealed steel? Suzie — unconcealed fluff [not our kind of fluff]I'm thinking Jim. Can't wait for the interviews. There's a special on this evening. My cup runneth over.

At the beginning of this thread I said:
I feel ashamed and dirty. I've become an Apprentice slut.

I haven't been watching it (stuck in my room with T Baker Dr Who episodes and King of the Hill instead), bit when I've seen the rejected ones on Breakfast the next day they nearly all seem ok - very modest and even humorous - not at all like the monsters you lot have been describing.
I think it's just the way they all hold those phones that make them all look twats.

That Natasha 'though . . what's with her geezer-lad "stop being an angry person" Chas and Dave persona?
