Rumours of it kicking off in Wembley, and in Stratford. Sorry Everso, but I don't think Ilford/Romford are being counted as part of the official riots. I was down there this afternoon and it looked pretty calm. Well, as calm as it usually gets, if you don't count the mad drivers. As I drove past the top of the Market Place I couldn't get a glimpse of Debenhams unfortunately. But how could they not be counted as part of the official riots? If yobbos have been smashing up shop fronts on the same night as the riots, why would they not be counted? Thankfully, Chelmsford seems o.k.

Cameron's bigging it up...police have been told to lay in to the rioters and answer questions later...anyone planning to hijack a Primark tonight is from the sound of things in for a big shock!
Hope so. But then await the parents coming out of the woodwork when their little angels get hurt, and the inevitable cries of 'racists'!
(listen I didn't spend two long years on the JSG without learning a thing or two)

...and speaking earlier today two 17 year olds said to a reporter...'we can do whatever (they probably said wateva) we like and the police and you can't stop us!' Little bastards|! Should be good viewing on News 24 tonight.

Kicking off in Salford/Manchester and West Bromwich/Birmingham.
Can report that all is quiet on the streets of Glasgow, but I find myself looking hard at all groups of young people. Some 16 yr old knob-head from my part of the city got himself arrested today for setting up a Facebook page wanting a riot in Glasgow.
I've seen the ALLEGED Blackberry message for tonight in London -meet at Hounslow at 10pm it says. If I've seen it, I take it the Polis have also seen it.
These looters are scum, don't get me wrong, but I still think the Met have some questions to answer both about shooting Duggan dead and also about the initial failure to police/close down the riots early days.
This is the FOURTH night of rioting (if it does indeed kick off again in London tonight)

BTW, hey is Aubrey OK? Anyone heard from him today? I'm getting ripped in Thurnscoe (S Yorks). Our lass is still in Lambeth, and she says it's ok. I've asked her to get me an Ipod if she goes out tonight, though. (Please - this is a joke. I hate Apple.

quiet! this is the Highlands of Scotland.the place has been hit by flash floods at the weekend the A9 and the A96 were flooded. The only riots that happen here is the odd fight at night with boozed up revellers. The population is spread out over a huge Highland area, the public transport is not very reliable,so there is no real chance for mass get togethers for sprees in Inverness. The Northern constablery are quite tough as well . They seem to command a healthy respect from the community. The big crimes her recently was Romians scamming ATM machines in Tescos, the odd murders we get are quicky solved,The last sad one was a mother killing her child in the grounds of Raigmore hospital .

Did you see that Manchester 'riot' last night on the TV?
There was no 'riot' bit to it really - just groups of young lads breaking into shops. It was robbery, not riot.
And then, about mdnight last night, live reporting from Manchester, and there's a 7 or 8 year old lad on his bike cycling around behind the reporter.

what parents leave their 7 and 8 year old out?You do wonder what kind of parenting these children are getting to be out and not know where they are. They are just so vunearable as crime victims and of course involved in crime.Which is why i am so happy the schools are back on Tuesday. Where they can be in a safe place and out of mischief
