What a bunch of clowns. Cheese on a stick? Canapes the size of baseballs? Have these people ever been to a function?

Bloody idiots the lot of them. Should have gone to a catering company, bought quality sandwiches, wraps & canapes for pennies. They would then have known their costs and could have pitched realistically knowing the quality was assured.
500 sandwiches @ 40p each - £200 (sell in street @ £2 = £800 profit) 5 canapes/wraps/blinis @ 50p each = £2.50 x 50 = £125 : charge £750 =(£625 profit)
Total - £1425 profit.
DO THE SUMS FIRST!!!!

I'm pretty cross about the scheduling of the Alan Whicker series, I only knew about it because of you, Patrick, and I caught a couple of minutes of it the other night, it was very interesting.
I guess it won't interest people younger than us that much (am I wrong?) because you and I remember the days when there were only 3 channels and they closed down for rests during the day and shut off at bedtime (after telling you to go to bed and playing the National Anthem - LOL! can you believe all that ever happened?!) and so Whicker was watched by everyone. Even my sister, just 3 years younger, experienced a bit more choice and diversity in programming so she doesn't have the same ''TV memories'' that I do.
Still, this Whicker series seems to be under promoted (?) and not scheduled at the right times. If they are putting it up against the Apprentice, one of their biggest shows presumably, they must not rate it much.

What a bunch of clowns. Cheese on a stick? Canapes the size of baseballs? Have these people ever been to a function? Sweet pancakes filled with cold courgette. Nom! Peanut butter on brown bread - nothing else. Nom! Lettuce leaves with no dressing - ambassador, with this deluxe salad bowl you are truly spoiling us!

Just popped upstairs to file my first report. What a useless bunch of tossers they look. Catering? What a hoot. I predict the girls will win - the boys don't seem to know what they're doing. Mind you, nor do the girls. That bloke's beard is getting me down. Hope they get rid of him. I am getting to like that beard. I felt sorry for him in the toga though.

Are we good to go again tonight? Winner is first person to interrupt their viewing and post the name of the person likely to be fired. Reasons must be given (to avoid just naming them all in a cheating kind of way.) Or are we going to be too engrossed to chat while it's on? I will be engrossed. So, I should put my guess in now. erm.. Yasmina. because she has bad hair. I failed. But you must admit, I wasn't that far off the mark. How could I have predicted a massive loss for the boys?

It's also shown on Saturdays at 9:40.(pm) You've put the proverbial finger on the button there. Did we all do Alan Whicker impressions in the seventies - or was that just me, cos I had the glasses! I suppose when young one didn't really pay much attention - but he's such a good story teller that you would start to pay attention by ones teens. It says a lot about him that at 84!! He has created, written, narrated and presented this programme - and yes - it does deserve better! Poxy BBC.

The best Alan Wicker show was the one where he went to Haiti and interviewed Papa Doc.

Well last night's Apprentice had Mr. E. all hot and bothered and saying things similar to swl about doing the sums first.
I'm sorry but 'Beardie' will definitely have to go next time. I'm not a fan of beards and the sort that he sports looks downright silly. Worse even than those chinney pube beards.

DO THE SUMS FIRST!!!! That seems like a sensible idea, but I've got an inkling that the preparation of the food themselves was part of the task, given that Sralan had laid on kitchens and the like. That woman who led the womans' team, the Iranian girl, crikey I didn't like her one bit. And that Kate doing the pitch for the hot and cold canapes . . apalling. The best bit last night however was Nick picking on that silent Asian guy (not the bearded one, the other one) saying 'I made it my business to watch you' . . very threatening. I was rolling about the couch laughing

I missed it. Is it worth sitting through the repeat? Yes If you like things that are really funny without being contrived (if you prefer your comedy arising out of real events rather than manufactured in a script.) It was hilarious.
